Shannon holds a Clinical Mental Health Counseling Master’s degree from the University of Nebraska at Kearney. She has been working as a therapist since 2013. Shannon has worked in an inpatient behavioral health center with individuals struggling with a wide variety of diagnoses including severe and persistent mental illnesses. Through her experiences in the mental health field, Shannon has worked with all ages including youth, adolescents, college students, and adults. She specializes in anxiety, depression, and trauma related disorders as well as a wide range of other mental health disorders. She has experience in providing counseling for chronic pain and illness. Shannon is also a licensed drug and alcohol counselor and provides therapy for co-occurring disorders (mental health and substance use). She is on the Registered Provider list, which allows her to provide mental health and substance use counseling and evaluations for adolescents and adults in the criminal justice system. Shannon provides individual, couple, and family therapy and utilizes Cognitive Behavioral and Solution Focused approaches. In addition to counseling, Shannon is able to provide substance abuse and co-occurring evaluations.
 

Shannon enjoys spending time with her family, attending sports events, and watching movies.
